Job summary

Kettering Health Hamilton is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Full-Time 9 Hour First Shift. The role requires compassionate care across settings and collaboration with the care team in a not-for-profit system serving southwest Ohio.

Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process, acting as patient advocate, and pursuing ongoing professional development while complying with legal scope.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (NLN/ACEN/CCNE).
• BSN preferred within 5 years of hire.
• BLS certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS as determined by unit scope.

Qualifications

Applicants Must Have:

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.
• BLS certification
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Must live within 30 minutes of Kettering Health Hamilton
• On-Call is required
• Previous IR and/or Cath Lab experience preferred but not required
• Critical Care Experience preferred
