Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care across settings, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The RN will advocate for safe care, participate in performance improvement, and align actions with Kettering Health’s mission and values.

Responsibilities include clinical supervision under the Clinical Nurse Manager, and meeting shift requirements: minimum 12 shifts every 6 weeks, 1152

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 12 months of RN experience in an acute care or long-term care setting.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• Must be scheduled a minimum of 1152 hours per calendar year.
• Minimum of 12 shifts (144 hours) per a 6 week schedule.
• Weekend Shift Requirement.
• 2 Holidays per year.

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel. Utilizing organizational resources the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement. The RN’s actions and communications should reflect Kettering Health Networks mission, vision, values, and policies in interactions with patients, families, and coworker.

The Registered Nurse reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Job Requirements

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
• At least 12 months of RN expeirnece in an acute care or longterm care setting
• BLS certification
