Job summary

Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA is recruiting for an RN Resident in Inpatient Rehab. The program provides structured curriculum, simulation, and authentic patient experience guided by experienced preceptors for new graduates or nurses with <=12 months of experience.

Start date is February 22, 2027. Full-time, night shifts available across Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and Neuro/Stroke units.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less

Responsibilities

• Participate in the RN Residency program as part of inpatient rehab education.
• Work under experienced preceptors to develop specialty competencies in brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neuro/stroke care.
• Deliver patient-centered care on assigned units during the residency period.

Registered Nurse Resident (Acute Care RN I) at Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Centerin Spokane, WA.

Providence is inviting current nursing students and recent graduates to apply for our RN Residency Program at Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center . An RN Residency with Providence will provide the foundation and support essential to becoming an expert in your specialty. Learn through a combination of structured curriculum, simulation, and authentic patient experience guided by experienced preceptors. If you are a new graduate RN, with less than 12 months of experience, then the Providence resident program is for you. This position starts on February 22, 2027 .

Full-Time, Night shifts available.

We are hiring for the following adult units: Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and Neuro/Stroke (CVA).

Unit Descriptions:

Brain Injury

Cares for patients recovering from traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including those experiencing cognitive, communication, mobility, and functional impairments. This unit offers experience in interdisciplinary rehabilitation while helping patients regain function, independence, and quality of life following brain injury.

Spinal Cord Injury

Cares for patients with traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injuries requiring specialized rehabilitation and recovery services. This unit offers experience in neurological rehabilitation, mobility restoration, adaptive care strategies, and helping patients maximize function and independence after spinal cord injury.

Neuro/Stroke (CVA)

Cares for patients recovering from stroke and other neurological conditions requiring inpatient rehabilitation. This unit offers experience in neurological assessment, stroke recovery, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation while helping patients regain functional abilities and independence.
