Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to uphold high-quality resident care in a clean, safe environment. You will develop and follow the nursing care plan, collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing assistants, and record medication administration.

The role requires an active RN license, prior RN experience in a nursing community, flexibility, and ideally SNF/LTC experience. You will monitor staff safety and ensure regulatory compliance, performing other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and prior RN experience in a nursing community.
• Commitment to resident care with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet resident needs.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident and healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and tasks are performed per regulations
• Follows procedures for nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
