Transylvania Regional Hospital, a member of Mission Health, is offering an RN Residency Program in Brevard, NC. This paid, year‑long program helps new graduates transition to registered nurses with hands‑on practice and mentorship from experienced nurse leaders.

You will gain advanced clinical training, monthly sessions, and a preceptor‑led experience, while contributing to patient‑centered care and evidence‑based projects in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• RN license or Graduate Nurse in the state.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Some travel may be required for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow‑ups.
