Job summary

Mission Health is seeking an RN Resident for Transylvania Regional Hospital to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. This paid program includes training in advanced clinical skills, mentorship from experienced nurse leaders, and collaborative evidence-based practice projects.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and must obtain BLS and ACLS certifications. No previous experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must obtain BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 1 year.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in North Carolina is required.
• No previous experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and resolve proactively.
• Teach patients and families about medical conditions and treatment.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)

Education
