Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton is seeking a New Grad RN Resident for the 4B Rehabilitation Unit. You will deliver direct nursing care on nights, working with a success coach to support your residency in a fast-paced, world-class environment.

The Residency program offers nine tailored tracks, loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. You will contribute to comprehensive patient care and professional growth within the Cleveland Clinic

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability).
Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
Document in patients' medical records.
