Job summary

Singing River Health System invites you to join its Nursing Residency Program, a one-year kickstart for newly licensed RNs in Mississippi. You’ll learn under guidance, complete mandatory certifications such as ACLS, and prepare for specialty certifications while developing essential clinical skills.

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide patient care using the Nursing Process, work within MS Nurse Practice Act standards, and collaborate with a dedicated team across SRHS hospitals.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• RNs must complete and maintain BCLS certification; RNs in specialty areas must hold ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Adhere to MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
• Mentor and collaborate with LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Technicians.
• Maintain professional practice and participate in ongoing development.
