Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for STC 3 Progressive Care Unit specializing in renal transplant, urology, peritoneal dialysis and more. Night shift, 36 hours per week, 7pm-7am, located in Temple, TX.

The unit handles complex urology patients, pulmonary hypertension, kidney/pancreas transplant, peritoneal dialysis, and radioactive implant care, with unique lead-lined rooms for radiation therapies.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice.
• ADN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our amazing Progressive Care Unit that focuses on Renal Transplant, Urology, Peritoneal Dialysis, Pulmonary HTN, and more. The Temple Memorial campus is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Unit Summary

STC 3 is a 35-bed monitored hospital unit that cares for a unique population of patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Our diverse patient population includes complex urology patients, pulmonary hypertension patients, kidney and pancreas transplant patients, peritoneal dialysis patients, and radioactive implant cases. STC 3 is the only unit in the hospital that performs peritoneal dialysis. STC 3 is the only floor equipped with lead-lined rooms to care for patients receiving radioactive therapies in the inpatient setting.

You’ll also have the opportunity to train in ultrasound guided IV insertion, expanding your clinical expertise and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements Of The Ideal Candidate

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• Active RN License
• Minimum of 6 Months of RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
