Job summary
Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Renal unit. This 28-bed floor treats post-transplant and renal patients and offers self-scheduling, strong leadership, and growth opportunities.
The role requires an Associate degree in nursing and an active RN license (Texas or compact). Responsibilities include delivering care via the Nursing Process, patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with emphasis on safety and seamless transfers
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- RN license (Texas or compact) upon hire.
- One-year RN experience; RN residency acceptable.
- BCLS (AHA) prior to providing independent patient care; quarterly refreshers.
- CPI training within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
- Assesses the patient and plans care.
- Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates outcomes.
- Maintains age-specific safety and infection control.
- Coordinates transfers and information across shifts.
