Job summary

Valley Health Specialty Hospital in Las Vegas is recruiting a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver safe, competent nursing care in an acute care setting while providing professional leadership to the healthcare team. Required: Nevada RN license, current BLS, and PALS or NRP as department requires; BSN preferred. Experience: 1 year full-time in acute care or 3 years part-time.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (neonatal patients) as required by department.
• One year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
