Job summary

Valley Health Specialty Hospital in Las Vegas seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent patient care in an acute setting. You will support the healthcare team, uphold patient-centered care, and supervise staff under your supervision.

Responsibilities emphasize leadership, adherence to policies, and service-excellence standards. Nevada RN license and BLS are required, with PALS or NRP as department needs. BSN preferred and pre-employment assessments apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certification as may be required by facility, speciality or department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
