Job summary

Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, GA, is seeking a PRN Rehab Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive adult and geriatric rehab nursing care within a multidisciplinary team. • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date is required.
• Registered Nurse license current and active is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• 1 year or more experience as RN with Rehab background required.

• Assess patients at admission and throughout stay.
• Participate in plan of care with multidisciplinary team.
• Document progress, goals, treatments, education throughout stay.
• Deliver and document direct quality patient care per Rehab standards of care.
• Prioritize patient goals through analysis of assessments, shift reports, and test results.
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids accurately and safely.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Rehab RN provides total adult and geriatric physical rehabilitation nursing care through a multi-disciplinary process resulting in the attainment of optimum quality of life for the patients.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assessment of patients initially at admission and throughout the stay.
• Participation in plan of care and implementation with multi-disciplinary team.
• Documentation of progress, goals, treatments, education throughout stay.
• Deliver and document direct quality patient care specific to Rehab Standards of Care.
• Prioritize/achieve patient goals/needs through analysis of assessments, shift reports, diagnostic test results, and other sources of info to recognize potential/actual patient problems, and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids accurately and safely.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date is Required
• Registered Nurse with current License is Required
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, is Required
• 1 year or more experience as RN with Rehab background is Required
