Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Louisiana is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team in Hammond. The RN will coordinate and provide compassionate nursing care, administer treatments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Requirements include an accredited RN program graduate, current RN license, CPR/First Aid, and 1–3 years of nursing experience, preferably in rehab or neurological care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• One to three years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation, neurological care, long-term care, or a related setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and medical treatment per care plans and scope of practice.
• Conduct health assessments and review patient care plans.
• Administer medications safely as ordered and per protocols.
• Coordinate with pharmacy regarding medication management.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete documentation and reports promptly and accurately.
• Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care.
• Supervise and support LPNs and direct care staff.
• Participate in on-call and emergency response duties.
