Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Waco is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team focused on patient-centered rehabilitation. You will supervise care, assess patients, and tailor plans to support recovery, while building strong relationships with patients and families.

Collaboration with multiple departments ensures coordinated care, and nurses serve as resources for colleagues, celebrating patient milestones and progress every day.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns to provide exceptional care.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, understanding their unique needs to facilitate their recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff, supporting them with complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate victories and milestones achieved by our patients.
