Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses in Seattle is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Rehabilitation unit to provide comprehensive care for patients with diverse rehab needs. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery after traumatic injuries and surgeries.

The role includes administering medications, monitoring vitals, and coordinating with physical therapy, respiratory services, and social work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient rehab or similar setting.
• Current RN license in Washington.
• BLS certification required.
• Charge experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team including PT, respiratory, and social services.
• Support ventilator-dependent patients and complex care needs.
• Implement care protocols for spinal cord injuries, TBIs, strokes, and amputations.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Rehabilitation unit, you will provide comprehensive care for patients with various rehabilitation needs. This role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patients recovering from traumatic injuries and surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
• Provide support for ventilator-dependent patients and manage complex care needs.
• Implement care protocols for patients with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and amputations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation or similar setting. Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
