Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Northport, AL is seeking an RN - Rehab for a 36-hour weekly, in-office contract position. The role requires floating to other units and hospitals and supports stroke, hip fracture, and pulmonary rehab within a multidisciplinary team.

The unit uses Meditech EMR and follows a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM day schedule with holidays as required and every other weekend. Start is 6/8/2026 for 13 weeks, ending 9/6/2026, with guaranteed hours 36.

Qualifications

• EMR used: Meditech.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, or 18 months with high license level and 1 year recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Work a 36-hour per week schedule in an in-office rehab setting.
• Be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary rehab team delivering patient-centered care.
• Support patient recovery through monitoring and collaboration with physicians, NPs/PAs and therapists.

Travel: Rehab RN

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.

When patients are admitted to our facility, they continue to receive hospital care and close medical supervision while participating in the rehab program. Every patient receives 24-hour medical monitoring and care by our physiatrist, nurse practitioners/ physician assistants and rehab nurses.

Providers round daily during the patients stay.

Patient recovery is aided by the latest therapy equipment including body weight support systems for safe recovery of walking; treadmills for maximum repetitions; a Dynavision machine for improving reaction time and visual processing and a simulation vehicle to practice getting in and out of the vehicle for the ride home.

OR RED CROSS

Licenses – Required

Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)

NURSYS

Experience - Required:

2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty.
