Description:The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a rehabilitation setting.The average daily census is 52 patients, with a total of 60 rooms and beds.The nurse will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed.Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs and overall well-being.The role requires proficiency in managing various medical equipment and devices.Knowledge of protocols for insulin administration, feeding tubes, and aspiration precautions is essential.Experience with rehabilitation therapies and techniques is preferred.The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans.Patient education and support will be provided to promote recovery and independence.The position includes weekend shift requirements and holiday coverage.Infection prevention and safety protocols must be strictly adhered to.The candidate must be willing to float between units as needed.
