Job summary

Qualifications

Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Rehabilitation specialty.The role involves caring for individuals who have experienced severe injury or illness.The hospital is a state‑of‑the‑at‑station‑in‑patient acute rehabilitation facility.Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to individual patient needs.Conditions treated include stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation.The facility is accredited for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program.The unit has 59 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 6:1 or 7:1.Teamwork is essential for this position.Common diagnoses include amputation, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac issues, and debility.A team player is highly valued in this role.
