Job Summary/Purpose
The RN Regulatory Coordinator is responsible for the management and completion of the Hospice ElectionAddendums (HEAs) process and reviews of missed Hospice Outcomes and Patient Evaluation (HOPE)assessments and Symptom Follow-Up Visit (SFV) assessments in accordance with applicable regulatoryrequirements and organizational policies.
The Regulatory Coordinator ensures that patients and families receive all required HEA information within therequired regulatory timeframes. The RN supports hospice quality and regulatory compliance by auditing HOPEvisit requirements and documentation and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and admissionstaff to obtain, document, and communicate accurate, patient-specific information. The RN also promotes an exceptional patient and family experience throughout the HOPE assessment process and identifies andprovides educational and collaborative opportunities for the Care Team on an individual or group basis.
