Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Florida is seeking a RN Wound Care PRN to support a procedural wound care team. You will provide clinical expertise to deliver high-quality care while collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure active within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• One year of RN experience in Wound Care or related field.
• Current BLS certification.
• WCC certification required after 6 months of hire.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication; ability to read and follow instructions; PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Wound Care patients.
• Maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and exam results.
• Administer medications and wound care per physician orders.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse for our Wound Care Team. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Wound Care patients.
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• You will administer medications and wound care in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements:

• Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• One year of experience as an RN in Wound Care or other specialty experience required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• WCC (Wound Care National Certification) required after 6 months of hire/ transfer.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
