- Department: Wound Care
- Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, Rotating weekends and holidays. Different shifts between 7am-5pm. 8hr or 10hr. Rotates between inpatient burns, wound care, and clinic.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Preferences
Preferred Education and Experience:
- BSN preferred
- Previous burn wound care experience preferred
- Certification in Wound Care (CWCN) is preferred, or willing to pursue following hire
- Ostomy certification (CWON) is a plus
