Position Summary

The Staff Nurse, RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of patients. Responsibilities include establishing goals and priorities, developing written care plans including patient education and discharge planning, and documenting care and patient progress. The RN collaborates with medical staff on patient care matters.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
