UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Nursing Leader to oversee nursing staff within the hospital's standards and goals. The role combines clinician, educator, consultant and manager responsibilities to ensure patient care quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing with Eighteen (18) months of related experience required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• If working in OR, PreOp or PACU, certification is preferred especially with longevity in position.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) for OR.
• If working in PreOp, certification as CPAN or CAPA by ABPANC.
• If working in PACU, certification as CPAN by ABPANC.
