Job summary

WeCare Centers seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor for its facility in Wellsboro, PA. The role focuses on leading the nursing team, overseeing clinical care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to deliver high-quality patient care.

The RN Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and other leadership to maintain safe practices, mentor staff, and coordinate with residents and families to support excellent care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in PA is required.
• Experience as RN in acute or long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support and guidance as a professional role model.
• Oversee nursing staff performance and ensure FBH policies are followed.
• Maintain safe, healthy environment and proper nursing techniques.
• Ensure accurate documentation by nursing staff.
• Communicate with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality care.
• Participate in compliance and quality improvement activities.
• Coach and supervise nursing staff and conduct evaluations.
• Monitor direct care and conduct audits to ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Job Duties

• Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.

• Maintaining nursing staff job performance through multiple intervention practices in close collaboration with Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources or Facility Administrator, as needed. Ensure FBH policies are being followed.

• Ensuring nursing staff are providing a safe, healthy environment and utilizing proper techniques and approaches.

• Ensuring proper documentation is being completed by nursing staff.

• Effectively communicating with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to provide a high quality of care.

• Participating in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.

• Completing nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.

• Ensures continued delivery of high quality nursing care by monitoring direct care and conducting audits.

• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.

• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the State of PA

• Previous experience as a RN in acute care / long term care setting is preferred
