  • Schedule: FT Nights - 7p-7:30a, Monday-Friday & EOWE (Sat/Sun), 72 hours per pay period

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care using professional judgment, the nursing process, and the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice. Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing multidisciplinary care plans aligned with clinical guidelines and patient needs.
  2. Respecting patient rights, dignity, and cultural values.
  3. Assessing educational needs and providing patient teaching.
  4. Alleviating patient anxiety and managing pain with pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic methods.
  5. Involving patients and families in care planning and discharge preparations.
  6. Documenting care, administering medications, and performing procedures per protocols.
  7. Monitoring patient responses and responding to changes or emergencies promptly.
  8. Ensuring quality and safety in care practices.
  9. Collaborating with healthcare team members and supporting a positive work environment.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an approved RN program, current Michigan licensure, and BLS certification. Graduate Nurses and soon-to-graduate students are welcome to apply.
