Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Facilitates patient discharge through timely, appropriate referrals and utilization of patient education resources, suitable to patient age and cultural/psychosocial factors. Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate. Supports unit/hospital goals through PI and educational activities as evidenced by attending in-services, meeting unit education standards, and completing variance reports.Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only.Working Relationship: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise).
