UW MEDICINE-NORTHWEST OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER has an outstanding opportunity for a full time PSA/PACU day shift REGISTERED NURSE.

Department Description
The Registered Nurse is a licensed practitioner who uses the nursing process to provide patient care. This includes exercising independent nursing judgment in managing the care of patients with complex health problem(s) and collaborating with patient, family and other healthcare providers/disciplines to optimize the patient's return to health and promote independence in self-care. Supervises and coordinates the work of ancillary healthcare personnel.
Responsibilities
Develops a written plan of care
Provides safe, therapeutic, cost-effective patient care
Provides direct patient care to an assigned group of patients
Collects, records, and analyzes assessment data such as patient health data
Requirements
One year of ICU experience or prior PACU, Phase I and Phase 2
ACLS and PALS required
