Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a skilled perioperative nurse to provide professional care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical and invasive procedures. You will scrub, circulate, assist physicians with surgical tasks, position patients, and ensure operating rooms and instruments are prepared for procedures.

The role requires an Alabama RN license, a Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Work location is UAB St.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama is required.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school AND licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.
