Job summary

Gundersen Health System invites qualified RNs to join the Orthopedic Unit in La Crosse, WI. The role focuses on orthopedic and trauma care, with traction management, casts, and postoperative recovery. You’ll work in a collaborative team, with 60 hours every two weeks and a mix of day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Wisconsin RN licensure upon hire.
• Current BLS healthcare certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic and trauma nursing care in a 24-bed unit.
• Develop expertise in traction management, splint/cast care, and wound care.
• Support postoperative recovery and mobilization for patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and execute care.
