Schedule: Full-time

Shifts: Days, Mids, Nights, and Weekend shifts available — 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts

Location: 2525 S DOWNING ST, Denver, 80210

The role you’ll contribute:

Assumes responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluate patient responses and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program
• Minimum of one year experience in the OR
• Current Colorado RN License or a Compact RN License from an NCLA Compact State
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
