Job summary

Canon Lodge Care Center in Canon City, Colorado is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our 60-bed skilled nursing team. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care, evaluate patient needs, and adjust care plans while supervising CNAs and LPNs within an interdisciplinary team.

The role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time employment, CPR certification upon hire, and opportunities for growth within Life Care Centers of America—one of the nation’s leading skilled nursing

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation.
• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents and deliver compassionate patient care.
• Assess patient needs through ongoing evaluation and revise care plans accordingly.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Support quality patient care in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferredCPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
