Job summary

Canon Lodge Care Center in Canon City, Colorado, a Life Care Centers of America facility, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our 60-bed skilled nursing team.

The RN delivers compassionate nursing care, provides clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs, and assesses patients to adapt care plans as their conditions evolve. An active RN license in good standing and CPR certification are required, with SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care and supervise CNAs and LPNs.
• Assess patient needs and revise care plans as conditions change.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient well-being.

$7,500.00 Sign on Bonus (FT)

Mon - Thu $5.00/hr night shift differential

Fri - Sun $6.50/hr night shift differential

Fri - Sun $3.00/hr day shift differential

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the RN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role includes evaluating patient needs through ongoing assessment and revise care plans based on changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to provide clinical supervision to C N As and LPNs.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
