WORK SCHEDULE

• 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday
• Day shifts (8:00am - 5:30pm)
• Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Our Neurology Clinic treats a variety of conditions, including muscle weakness, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, neuropathy, and movement disorders. Our clinic is staffed by board-certified and board-eligible neurologists, who offer neurodiagnostic services including EEGs, EMGs, evoked potentials, and autonomic nervous system testing. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
• Provide personalized care to patients experiencing a broad array of behavioral and neurologic conditions
• Work closely with other clinic RNs to support the needs of our general neurology patients
• Provide compassionate care on a team that always puts their patients first PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work alongside a team of board-certified neurologists and medical support staff
• Regularly work with patients who have experienced neurologic, physical, and behavioral changes after receiving a Huntington’s diagnosis, as well as other neurological diagnoses
• Support our providers during routine clinic assessments
• Support our patients between clinical appointments
• Educate patients and their families on ongoing healthcare needs
• Answer and triage patient calls and MyChart messages
• Obtain medical records and test results for providers
• Manage prior authorizations and outgoing referrals
• Provide nursing advice in person, via phone, and via telehealth REQUIREMENTS
• 2 years of medical-surgical, ambulatory, or neurology nursing experience
• Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
