Job summary

White Glove Placement, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-impact travel assignment in Georgia. The role focuses on Telemetry/PCU in a Cardiology Stepdown Unit of a busy acute care hospital.

You should have at least 2 years PCU/Stepdown experience, GA RN license, travel experience, and BLS/ACLS; NIHSS preferred. The schedule is 12-hour day shifts with every-other weekend, 17-week assignment, and potential ICU float.

Qualifications

• Active GA RN/compact license required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU/Stepdown experience in a large hospital.
• At least 1 completed travel assignment; no first-time travelers.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) required; NIHSS preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Telemetry/PCU in Cardiology Stepdown.
• Monitor and respond to telemetry strips and patient status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and float to ICU as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Telemetry / Progressive Care (PCU – Cardiac Stepdown)
• Shift: 12-Hour Days (6:45 AM – 6:45 PM)
• Assignment Length: 17 Weeks

Scheduling Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• Holiday flexibility required
• Floating to ICU may occur (stepdown-level patients unless ICU qualified)

Requirements

• Active GA RN/compact License
• Minimum 2 years PCU/Stepdown experience in a large hospital
• At least 1 completed travel assignment (no first-time travelers)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA) required | NIHSS preferred
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
