Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an experienced RN for the Medical/Surgical Orthopedics team at St. Joseph's Hospital - North in Lutz, FL.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with the health care team, and participate in precepting and on-call coverage as needed. The ideal candidate has 2 years of RN experience, holds an RN license with BLS, and may require ACLS depending on department.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• RN license is required.
• ACLS certification preferred if department requires.
• 2 years of RN experience required.
• Education: associate degree or nursing diploma required; bachelor’s preferred.

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
