Job summary

BayCare Health System in Lutz, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Orthopedics unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital - North. The role focuses on patient care using established nursing processes and professional accountability in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

You will support a compassionate care team, rotate as preceptor/charge nurse as needed, and contribute to a culture of excellence and patient safety. This position requires nursing licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 2 years of RN experience is required.
• BLS Certification is required; RN license is required.

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• ACLS Certification, if required by department
• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
