Qualifications

  • Must have BLS certification and RN credential from Michigan.
  • Diploma in nursing or professional licensure required at hire.

Responsibilities

+ Department: Long Term Acute Care (LTAC)

+ Schedule: PRN. Rotating. Weekends and holidays per unit rotation

+ Hospital: Ascension Borgess Pipp

+ Location: Plainwell, MI

Benefit options and eligibility vary by position. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  2. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  3. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  4. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  5. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  1. BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  2. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  1. Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
