Shift: Full-Time, 7A-7P or 7P-7A
OU Medical Center - Oklahoma City, OK
As a Registered Nurse in the Adult Medicine Specialty Unit at OU Medical Center, you will care for patients with complex and varied disease processes. Our unit includes the Intermediate Care Unit, allowing you to employ a wide range of nursing skills in collaboration with pulmonary, medical, surgical, and glycemic care teams.
An OU Health RN I works under general supervision, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of health problems. They embody OU Health's core values of Patients First, Relentless Excellence, Integrity, Inclusion, Learning, and Teamwork.
RN I is suitable for nurses who are novice or advanced beginners progressing towards competence, relying on rules and developing principles based on experience.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: 0-3 years in patient care.
License: Current RN license (Oklahoma or multistate eNLC).
Certification: BLS certification required upon hire.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: 3-5 years in patient care.
License & Certification: Same as RN I.
Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
Experience: 5+ years in patient care.
License & Certification: Same as RN I, with optional specialty certifications.
