AdventHealth in Winter Park, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift positions. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with the medical team to ensure quality care.

The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5000 for eligible candidates, a 3x12 hour schedule with every other weekend, and benefits from Day One. Join a purpose‑driven team providing compassionate care.

Formación

• RN required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
• Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent is required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and timely documentation.

Job Description

Grow with us. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20% through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria.

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Up to $5000 Sign-on Bonus available to eligible candidates (see terms below).

Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

Sign-on Eligibility

• One (1) year of applicable experience
• Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible

Schedule: 3 X 12 hrs. + every other weekend

Shift: Nights- 7 pm- 7 am

Location: Winter Park

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG competency
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ labor and delivery acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses And Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Required]

Pay Range

$31.53 - $52.24
