The unit features multiple labor beds, triage, operating rooms, and high-risk beds, supporting a broad scope of obstetric services. The RN will deliver care per Ohio Nurse Practice Act and Mount Carmel Health System standards, with opportunities for new graduates and experienced nurses.

The Labor and Delivery Unit at Mount Carmel St. Ann's sees intrapartum pregnancy and postpartum pregnancy patients. The unit has 15 labor beds, 8 triage, 3 operating rooms and 12 antepartum high risk beds.

The Registered Nurse (RN), within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Staff RN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Mount Carmel Health System.
