Accepting New Grads and experienced Registered Nurses! The Intermediate (IU) nurse monitors the overall hemodynamic status of the moderately complex patient, performing head-to-toe assessments, and assessing all body systems, rhythms, invasive lines, tubes, and drains. They administer, titrate, and monitor patients on moderately critical medications, often post-surgical patients requiring intense monitoring. Effective communication with physicians and surgeons regarding patient status changes is essential. IU Nurses must stay current with BLS and ACLS certifications. They work in units called pods, maintaining a 1:3 nurse-patient ratio, ensuring high-quality, safe, and patient-focused care.
As part of our team, you will collaborate with physicians and caregivers, setting standards for excellence in patient care. Our low nurse-to-patient ratios allow time to build patient relationships and provide high-quality care. Patient rooms are fully stocked and arranged to streamline care. Join us in shaping the future of cardiac care and making a difference in patients' lives.
