Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-time

Position Purpose

The ICU at Mount Carmel Grove City is an 18-bed unit providing care for medical, surgical, cardiothoracic, sepsis, STEMI, stroke, and code blue patients. Nurses develop broad skills in a supportive environment, responding to various emergencies and supporting patient families.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, ensure patient safety, promote evidence-based practices, and uphold professionalism.
• Assess and evaluate patient care, collaborate with patients and families to develop care plans.
• Communicate effectively with team members and keep patients/families updated.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Take responsibility for care provided by team members as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• For casual RNs, at least 2 years of experience required.
• New graduates with less than one year of experience will be enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
