Job Description

To demonstrate specialized oncology/chemotherapy knowledge and skills gained through formal education and several years of training. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment. BMTC (Bone Marrow Transplant Certification) may be acceptable for specific positions. If working in the Hazelrig-Salter Radiation Oncology Center, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is also required.
