Other Compensation: In addition to the base pay, this position may also be eligible for:

  1. BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
  2. Certification premium - $1.25/hour
  3. Night premium - $4.50/hour
  4. Weekend premium - $4.00/hour
  5. Overtime pay

Registered Nurse, RN, ICUs - ICU Training Program - Harborview Medical Center

RNs hired for Harborview ICU Training Program positions will receive a structured training program that includes classroom sessions, on-line module components; along with a precepted orientation, which will allow for success in this challenging and high acuity environment.

Harborview ICUs include: Neurosciences ICU (30 beds); Trauma Surgical ICU (24 beds); Medical Cardiac ICU (17 beds); and Burn & Pediatric Trauma ICU (18 beds).

Please note - if hired for an ICU position via ICU Training Program - there would be a minimum two year commitment expectation to the unit you are hiring on with.

Requires current WA. State RN License.

Two+ years of med-surg/acute care RN experience desirable.

Please note that if you are a current Harborview RN, and had been initially hired as a new grad RN in med-surg/acute care, then you must have completed a minimum two years on your initial unit as RN. (other commitment timeframes may apply for certain other residency areas).

(entry level RNs may also be considered for ICU training program positions; nursing technician/CNA experience in ICU, and/or senior practicum in ICU desired). Please note that at this time there are no new grad RN interviewing/hiring opportunities with ICU Training Program, but may arise at any time.
