Job description

Salary: $27 - $32 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare is looking for a Home Care RN (Registered Nurse) to assume responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor. The RN will perform according to nursing standards, managing patient care and assisting others in patient care management.

Responsibilities

1. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Performs focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.
3. Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
4. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare team members and documents actual or potential nursing diagnoses.
5. Performs other Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state.
2. Current Health Certificate (per facility requirements).
3. Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
4. Current BLS card.
5. One year of prior LPN experience preferred.
