Job summary

Adoration Home Health in Lexington, MS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our home health team. This role offers 1:1 patient care, with schedule as Full-Time; Monday - Friday, and opportunities for growth within a supportive environment.

Experience in home health or geriatrics is preferred; CPR certification is required, and a valid driver’s license with insurance is essential for travel between patient homes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Degree (Associate or Bachelor) with current unrestricted license in state of practice and residence.
• At least 1 year nursing practice in patient care; home health or geriatrics preferred.
• Driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of car insurance.
• New graduates may be considered in select markets based on program availability.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Create home health care plans aligning with MD orders and patient goals.
• Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management.
• Educate and support patient’s family and caregivers.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the local branch.

Office Location: Lexington, MS Coverage area: Holmes County (Cruger, Durant, Goodman, Lexington, Pickens, Tchula, West)

Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday

Home Health and HCHB experience preferred

• One year nursing practice in a patient care setting required; and home health, geriatrics or other related settings preferred
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance in accordance with Adoration policy
• New nursing graduates may be considered in select markets based on program availability
• Current CPR certification
