Adoration Home Health in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one home health care in the patient’s home. The PRN RN will join a caring team delivering patient-centered care in the Cookeville area.

The role offers 3 days per week with on-call responsibilities. Must hold an active RN license, CPR, and a valid driver's license; home health/geriatrics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing practice; home health/geriatrics preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and evidence of auto insurance as per policy.

Responsabilités

• Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients in home settings.
• Develop and adjust home health care plans based on MD orders and patient goals.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions at patients' homes.
• Educate and support patients and families; provide symptom management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and maintain timely documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the local branch.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions
• Provide pain and symptom management
• Educate and support the patient's family and caregivers
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the local branch

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Degree (Associate or Bachelor) from an accredited college of nursing with current unrestricted registration and license in the applicable state is required
• One year nursing practice in a patient care setting required; and home health, geriatrics or other related settings preferred
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance in accordance with Adoration policy
• New nursing graduates may be considered in select markets based on program availability
• Current CPR certification
