Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls is seeking a registered nurse to join our GI & Pulmonary Endoscopy Center. You will provide full-spectrum nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedural phases for adult and pediatric patients undergoing GI and pulmonary endoscopic procedures.

Our center features 16 procedure rooms, 39 pre/post rooms, and collaboration with GI and Pulmonary Specialists, Surgeons, CRNAs, and technologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for GI and Pulmonary procedures.
• Assist with colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchoscopies and related studies.
• Support care across OR, ED, and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, and techs to ensure patient safety.

At the GI & Pulmonary Endoscopy Center , we provide exceptional, full-spectrum care-Pre Procedure, Intra Procedure, and Post Procedure-for both adult and pediatric patients undergoing Gastroenterology and Pulmonary Endoscopic procedures. With a wide array of advanced, diagnostic, and therapeutic interventions, our center is a dynamic and rewarding environment for clinicians looking to deepen their skills and make a meaningful impact.Our team supports a comprehensive portfolio of GI procedures including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, ERCPs, EUS-guided biopsies, enteroscopy, and motility studies. We also perform leading-edge pulmonary procedures such as diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopies and navigational bronchoscopies with endobronchial ultrasound.We operate 16 procedure rooms and 39 Pre/Post rooms across two buildings, and also provide services in the OR, Emergency Department, and inpatient settings. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
