Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Rye, NH is looking to hire a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time daytime shift (6a-2p). The successful candidate will deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like setting and join a dedicated team focused on resident well-being and community.

Requirements include an active state license (LPN/RN) and CPR certification, with 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred and prior work with the elderly highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN/RN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN/RN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly residents in care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health to leadership per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in job duties.
• Coordinates care with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.

Benchmark at Rye is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our team!

Full Time Days 6a-2p

$36-$44/HR

As a Nurse, your main role will be to deliver nursing care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN/RN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN/RN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
